Nicole A. Raebel

Nicole Raebel is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Nicole attended Winona State University and received her Bachelor’s degree with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science. Nicole began working with Jaspers, Moriarty & Wetherille during law school as a Law Clerk. After spending almost 2 years clerking with Jaspers, Moriarty & Wetherille, the firm hired Nicole as an Associate Attorney following her admission to the bar. She is now a Partner and Shareholder at the firm.

Nicole received awards as a “Top Attorney in Minnesota Rising Stars” and “Top Women Attorney in Minnesota Rising Stars” with Super Lawyers for sic consecutive years 2021-2026. In law school, Nicole was a Volunteer Investigator for two years with the Minnesota Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility’s 4th District Ethics Committee. Nicole was born and raised in Minnesota. Nicole also currently serves as the Vice President of the Shakopee Dollars for Scholars non-profit organization.

Nicole maintains a general legal practice including primarily:

1. Estate planning – including Wills, Trusts, POA/HCD, and Elder Law, generally. Additional experience in representing Trustees in Trust Administration.
2. Guardianships and Conservatorship – representing both Petitioners and Respondents for adults and minors. Including litigation at establishment, appointment of successor, change of abode, modification, and termination/restoration to capacity. Additional experience representing Conservators at annual account hearings, throughout the CARP audit process, and requesting Orders for Disbursement of Funds.
3. Probate – including Decrees of Descent and representation of both heirs and Personal Representatives in Formal and Informal, Testate and Intestate, probate estates.
4. Family – including Custody, Paternity, Child Protection, Child Support, Order for Protection, and Dissolutions. Additional experience in Adoptions, Name Changes, Post-decree/Order modification litigation
