Debt Collection and Unfair Debt Collection Practices Litigation
JMW attorneys represent debtors and creditors in debt collection lawsuits, and in the judgment enforcement process. JMW often represents individual and corporate creditors, including small businesses, banks, and corporations, in debt collection lawsuits, and in the collection of unpaid judgments. We also help defend individuals against judgment enforcement actions, like wage garnishments and bank levies. Finally, we can help debtors prosecute debt collectors for unlawful debt collection practices, including harassment, that violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Federal Trade Commission’s FAQ).
As with all our cases, prior to any debt collection or bankruptcy matter, JMW attorneys offer potential clients a free consultation about their debt issues, and to explain the bankruptcy process. Please call us today to schedule a free consultation.
